Yes. Under the Building Act 283/2021 (in force since July 2024) a garage is a 'simple structure' and always needs a permit (povolení záměru), regardless of size or material. A carport without walls up to 40 m2 on a family house plot is usually a 'minor structure' and needs no permit if it keeps 2 m from the boundary. We prepare and file everything for you.
A prefabricated or steel garage is assembled in one to five days on a finished slab. A brick garage takes three to six weeks. The permit is the slowest part, typically one to three months, so we start it right after the site survey.
